Playskool, a division of Hasbro, is scheduled to unveil ION, a new interactive gaming system at the New York Toy Fair 2005 later this week. ION is a revolutionary electronic learning system for kids from the ages of 3 to 7 years. This system promotes healthy physical activity by making kids move and groove their way through the learning games instead of using traditional game controllers. There is a motion capture camera which puts the kids live onto the TV screen where they exercise both their minds and bodies by jumping, ducking, and moving around while learning math, spelling, letters and more. ION consists of a console, a motion camera to capture the kids movements, and Active Learning Discs which contain the actual game to be played.
