Baby DVD's are the latest in early learning techniques and are gaining in popularity. Most parents want their children to begin learning at the earliest. The television is a great means of teaching young babies with the aid of sights and sounds. Studies have shown that watching stimulating programs aids in sharpening babies recognition skills, developmental skills and language skills. Baby Einstein and Brainy Baby are 2 of the most popular and promising Baby DVD producers. At the Toy Fair 2005, both these companies had new product lines on display.
be_logo.gif Baby Einstein has a new DVD out called "Baby Wordsworth" which provides interactive exposure to different forms of communication - verbal, sign language, and the written word. Commonly used words in various rooms of the house are picked out and shown first in writing, then in sign language by Marlee Martin, an Academy Award Winning actress, and then said aloud. Also coming up is "Baby Monet Discovering The Seasons", which is a blend of Monet's art, Vivaldi's classical music and the beauty of nature. Very appealing indeed.
infantpack1.jpgBrainy Baby, which is also a big name in the infant developmental category, has introduced "The Brainy Baby Infant Learning Pack" which is a pack of 4 DVD's containing the titles “Right Brain,” “Left Brain,” “Peek-a-Boo” and “Laugh & Learn.” The Right Brain and Left Brain DVD's assist in development of specific areas of babies brain including the artistic and logical areas. Brainy Baby also has a complete line of educational toys and books for infants. Keep posted for a complete new section on Baby DVD's coming soon to Toys at About.com.
