Mattel has planned for the new Barbie And The Magic Of Pegasus movie to be released in the fall of 2005. This is a first for Mattel and Barbie in a number of ways. Firstly, it is the first direct to home entertainment movie which is based on an original storyline. Secondly, this movie features 3D Animation which is unusual in little girl movies. We can expect a host of Barbie dolls and playsets which revolve around the magical and mythical fantasy world of Pegasus. Just the stuff little girl's dreams are made of.
