A talking Jesus doll is due to appear in the stores shortly. This doll, along with other characters from the Bible like Virgin Mary, Moses, Esther, Ruth and David are going to be available soon. "The $25 religious dolls have authentic period clothing, such as Jesus sandals and veils for the Virgin Mary, along with rooted life-like hair and bright glass eyes. The characters are also movable and can grip objects as part of a child's imaginary play.
"Each character has a unique voice and speaks scripture that they speak in the Bible itself, reinforcing those scriptures to every child who plays with the dolls."

I think this is the most retarded and sacreligous thing I’ve ever heard. What is this dool gonna say? Jesus loves you??? I mean its a good thought to try and make christianity fun but I don’t believe making a doll of Jesus is the way to do it.
How sad to hear the negativity from the first comment. I think it is a great opportunity to use these dolls to help parents educate in a fun way the religious faith. I think it is a great idea that someone thought of this, at least someone is doing something good to teach religious education unlike others who do not teach their children any religious beliefs, perhaps that is why out world has so much hate and crime. i believe that these dolls are a very good way to inspire and bring closer children to the christian faith. and for the one who decided to leave the first comment, i don’t see you doing anything to try to help the christian faith. all i see is you complaining bout something and trying to turn it into a negative. why don’t you just be quiet and deal with it ya
I love the toy, and can’t wait to buy one for as many kids as I can find. We have so many toys with negative or satanic messages you would think parents would be excited about a doll that’s positive and helpful. Anyone that speaks or thinks negative about this toy really need to examine themself.
I think a great many folks will find delight in this toy… I also think a few will be offended. As in all things, there will be varying opinions. I am glad that the dolls will recite actual scripture, though… This goes a long way in reconciling those who believe the toys are offensive. The article I read doesn’t say who is manufacturing the toy, however…
Finally a toy that I can be 100% satisfied giving my children. This helps Christian parents teach their kids about the real meaning of life. Unlike Barbie dolls which give kids a warped sense of self-worth. I can’t wait to buy them!

AWESOME DOLLS……Going to Buy them all.. Also can’t believe toy’s for tots refused them! Even if some people do not believe in Jesus, these dolls would at least say Nice things instead of all the trash our children hear from other toys, Tv, and other people.
