Fisher Price Toys - Classic Toys and New Toys

Tuesday April 26, 2005
fp75.gif This year, Fisher Price turns 75 years old. Yes, that means that Fisher Price Toys have been around ever since our grandparents were little kids! They probably enjoyed Fisher Price toys as much as we did, and as much as our kids do.

In honor of Fisher Price's 75th Anniversary, here's an interesting article on Fisher Price History and Fisher Price Classic Toys. This gives you information on Fisher Price's origins and spotlights some popular classic toys that have been around for years.

If you look at current Fisher Price toys, you will see that Fisher Price has diversified into musical and electronic toys as per popular demand. Most of their latest offerings have music, lights, activity, sound and a combination of all four.

This year, Fisher Price has plans for new toys based on popular characters like Spongebob, Dora the Explorer, Elmo and many more. "Shout Elmo" is the latest ELMO from Fisher Price, singing the Elmo-ized version of the popular song "Shout". Spongebob is in full form with Ripped Pants Spongebob, which promises a lot of fun and giggles. Take a look at the New Fisher Price Toys for Babies and Kids coming up this year.

(1) Classic Toys says:

The Elmo toys are my favorite and I’m sure they are destined to become generational favorites. I remember running all over town day after day trying to find the Tickle-Me-Elmo for my (then) little girl. And what did she want to play with…the box! But, she still has it and refuses to part with it. I guess that means it was a hit.
