We all played with our favorite teddy bears when we were little. I was virtually inseparable from my own teddy, a brown bear called (very unimaginatively) Brownie. After a few years, Brownie looked totally different from what he used to look originally. I decided to wash him and make him look as good as new. Unfortunately, I was a wee bit overzealous in doing so, and Brownie came out of the whole process looking worse than before!
