The creme de la creme of the toys seen through the year are showcased in the Toy Of The Year Awards. Every year, the Toy Industry Association (TIA) honors the best toys in many different categories. This year, most of the toys which won were expected to do so, but there were some surprises too. Dora the Explorer won the Property of the Year award for the second time in a row. Apples to Apples from Out of the Box Publishing tied with Cranium's Hullabaloo to win the Best Game Of The Year. But most amazing of all, Leap Frog's FLY Pentop Computer swept the awards, taking home awards in three categories!
