The new line of Baby Bratz called Bubble Trouble is kind of cute. The Bubble Trouble line features the Bratz Big Babyz - pretty large sized dolls standing 13" tall. The Baby Bratz are dressed in bikinis complete with a number of trendy accessories. The novelty lies in the bubble blowing abilities of the doll. Save your money and get something else. My daughter saw this on TV and really wanted it for her birthday. It was the biggest dissapointment. It’s EXTREMELY HARD TO USE and if you are lucky, it blows just 2-3 bubbles before you have to try to wet the lips with the bottle again before the fan kicks on. There is no chamber to hold the bubbles, and if you don’t remove the bottle fast enough, or get a good film over the lips, it doesn’t blow bubbles at all. Bubble liquid then runs down the side of the doll making a huge mess. Our older nieces were even dying to try it and gave up in less than 5 minutes. As an adult, I only got a few bubbles to blow adn of all the tries, I only had about a 30% success rate in getting the bubbles to blow. My daughter only got bubbles twice out of the 10 minute coaching session I did with her. You shouldn’t have to “coach” your child and then pray it will work! A HUGE FLOP!!!
I thuink what’s troubling isn’t that the suggestive bubble blowing might not work, but that we are buying these sexed up little baby ‘ho dolls for our kids.
I am not any kind of Puritan, nor do I think sex is repressed and evil, but I can’t believe people are buying these things for their little girls. These dolls are some kinf of pedophile’s dream.
I chose not to have TV so I wouldnt be bombarded with commercials, and this is one more reason. Why would you purchase this kind of toy for your child?
