The Doll Wars - Barbie vs Bratz Yet Again!

In a bid to compete for the largest share of the doll market, it seems like the two big toy companies Mattel and MGA are at it again.
This fall, MGA plans to introduce Bratz Diamondz, a line of Bratz dolls which includes a piece of jewellery with a real diamond chip, complete with a certificate of authenticity. The line includes Bratz dolls all dressed up in sparkly clothes and jewellery. In the meantime, Mattel has introduced it's new My Scene Bling Bling line, a flashy new line of dolls with lots of bling bling - sparkly faux jewellery. But wait, there's more. Mattel plans to introduce a new My Scene Bling Bling doll with a piece of real jewellery - a "real gem ring" in July!
The tussle between the two companies should get interesting. At the end of the day, it's the little girls who have to decide which doll its gonna be - the Barbie or the Bratz!
