Let's welcome the Telestory - an interactive electronic storybook reader from Jakks Pacific. The Telestory is a compact and handy plug and play reading device which encourages your child to develop good reading habits. The Telestory is unique in the fact that it only requires to be connected to a TV set via the wires/jacks provided, and doesn't require any DVD player. Once plugged in, the unit is very easy to turn on and operate. The Telestory comes pre-loaded with either a Spongebob or Dora the Explorer cartridge, with two stories each. Additional cartridges can be purchased separately. Your child has the option of either reading the stories word by word, or having the stories read to him/her by the unit. Clever little animations can be activated by pressing a few brightly colored buttons. Little kids will find the unit a breeze to use, as it isn't too complicated.
