I have been everywhere on the web trying to find the new Elmo TMX. All have been bought up to sell for outrageous amounts. Ebay, Amazon just to name two places I found them. Now, my question is how does one person end up with 8 and 10 of these furry creatures? Selling them for $200 plus, each!!!!!!!!! I signed in to Walmart.com hoping to find one after a few days of waiting, they had one, yippppeee! Had to fill out the first time order thingy and when I went to checkout it had just been sold. I guess I won’t find the two I wanted for my grandbabies because of greedy people. BUMMER!!!
I was very upset this weekend when I went to buy my TMX Elmo. I woke up at 5:30 to get to my local Wal-Mart at 6:45 as expected there was already a line. What I didn’t expect was the manufactor only allowing 48 dolls for the store and allowing people two dolls each. Needless to say I didn’t end up with a doll. My two year old daughter will not get a TMX Elmo doll this christmas because I refuse to get trampled in the race to get one of these new dolls. Sorry fisher-price I am no longer interested in the hot new toy this year and I am telling all my friends and family not to bother as well.
I felt the same way but I was persistant. Keep calling your local Walmart, Target, etc. They will continue to get shipments in small quantities and they are good about giving out information. Our local Wal-mart rec’d 12 this past weekend. When I called they told me they would be released at 7 AM on Sunday. I arrived at Wal-mart at 6 and was pleased I was the 1st in line. I had also called Toys-R-Us last weekend and they said they had some on the truck that was coming in this week but the days vary when they get the trucks in. The bottom line is they are happy to give you the information if you ask and keep calling. Good Luck - I broke my daughters out of the box when she was napping - VERY CUTE!
I think it is abosulutely ridiculous that T.M.X Elmo is being sold online for $100-$200 or even more. You would think that Fisher-Price would expect this to be a big item this year, just from past experience and would have made many more, but now greedy people are buying and selling them, and some people, simply won’t pay that much. The manufacturer is missing out on money here. The doll is $40 or so in the store, and I know many people, including myself, that would pay that, but will not go searching for it or buy online for outrageous prices.
I can not believe that parents are bending to their kids just to buy them a TMX Elmo! How about saying “After Christmas, dear!”
Not to brag, but I got my TMX Elmo for free from FreeElmos.com
I don’t understand how people can pay $200 for a silly toy. But then again, I consider myself to be smarter than the average bear!
TMX Elmo is expected to sell like hotcakes this holiday season.
I got a TMX Elmo for my daughters first birthday and had to return the first one due to a dark spot on his belly. The one I ended up with stopped working after the first week so I plan on returning him as well. I hope that every one else did end up with a disapointing toy as my daughter
