Toy Fair 2007 is just around the corner! I can literally feel the excitement in the air. Things are heating up for the toy manufacturers, public relations agencies, buyers and the press too. From the sneak previews of the new toys being released, I can tell you that there's lots and lots to look forward to this year.

Every year, the Toy Fair attracts people from many varied backgrounds. I'd like to present an interesting take on the Toy Fair from the viewpoint of the exhibitors, courtesy of Lisa Orman, President, KidStuff PR. Lisa Orman is one of the most dedicated PR persons I've come across. Her firm, KidStuff PR, represents 17 toy manufacturers, both small and large. She's really awesome at her job, and very good in promoting her client's products. I've spotted the products Lisa represents in many toy related publications including Parenting magazine, Creative Child magazine, Parents magazine and many others. Also, many of the toys she represents have won several major awards like the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio, Dr Toy's Guide, iParenting Media Awards... the list goes on and on! Without further ado, here's the article by Lisa Orman, Dos and Don’ts for Marketing, PR and Promotion at Toy Fair.
