The first time I took a look at Wee Gallery's Art Cards designed by artist Surya Sajnani, I fell in love with them instantly! The Farm Collection art cards from Wee Gallery are 5x7 matte laminated cards featuring replications of original line drawings by the artist. They are meant to entertain, educate and stimulate young babies between 0 - 12 months. The cards make a strong statement with their black and white line drawings of animals. Black and white are colors which appeal to young babies and which stimulate brain development in young infants. On one side of the cards, a black background predominates with a white drawing of the animal. Just the reverse combination prevails on the opposite side, with white as the background and the drawings in black ink.I tried these wonderful cards out on my own little baby, and met with instant success. He looked at the pictures with rapt attention, and then promptly reached for them and put them in his mouth. Surprisingly, the cards were none worse for the wear after the brief chewing they received!
