Toy Recalls - The List Gets Longer

There seems to be a snowball effect coming into play where toy recalls are concerned. The CPSC today announced four more recalls of kids' products including Thomas and Friends, Curious George and other character spinning tops, Spongebob Squarepants spiral bound journals and address books and girls' costume jewelry. The spinning tops and journals were recalled because of excessive lead in the surface paint, and the childrens' jewelry was recalled due to the high levels of lead contained in the metal.
