The latest news on the grapevine is that there is going to be a 10% increase in the price of toys. The good news is that this price hike isn't going to hit us this year, at least. The toys that are being sold this holiday season have already been produced and most have been shipped out too. Eventually, however, the price hike is going to hit us - harder with high end toys, and not so hard with cheaper toys. I guess this was a pretty logical thing to happen, keeping in mind that safety precautions don't come cheap. On the flip side, I definitely don't mind paying a little extra for my peace of mind, knowing that the toys my kids play with are safe!
