Toy Recalls - Target Recalls Toy Gardening Tools and Chairs

Target has announced the recall of the Happy Giddy Gardening Tools and Children's Sunny Patch Chairs sold at Target stores nationwide due to lead paint standard violation. As mentioned in a previous article, the amounts of lead in these items, especially the Sunny Patch chairs was mind boggling - around 97% above the legally allowed lead levels.

Target, in association with the CPSC, has recalled approximately 350,000 units of the gardening tools and chairs. The affected items were sold at Target stores nationwide from August 2006 through August 2007. If you have purchased these items, you can get a full refund from Target by returning the items to your nearest Target store.
