After the recent spate of toy recalls, there have been lots of internet searches on the keywords "Toys Made in The USA". Understandably enough, people's confidence has been shaken in toys made in China and elsewhere, where quality control standards are lax. Hopefully, the toy industry and the US government will set things straight sooner rather than later and the toy recalls will fade into just an unpleasant memory.
In the meantime, I've been working on this Toys Made in USA article for quite a while now. Believe it or not, it's tough to find out if a toy is made in USA or not! Lots of toys I've come across are designed in the USA, but made in China and other places around the world. Also, some toys have certain parts manufactured in other countries which automatically disqualifies them from sporting the "Made in the USA" label. There are only a handful of toy manufacturers who still make toys within the US. Here's a look at what I came up with - a selection of toys made in the USA.

Thank you for this article. As a father of kids and neices and nephews under the age of 8, Christmas proved to be hard finding the right toys for them with everything being recalled. We opted for mainly educationally games rather than actual toys. Especially things that they would easily place in their mouths. So this site is kind of a life saver with birthdays coming up. Thank you again.
I walked through several department stores and could not find a toy produced outside of China so I build list of toys made in Europe and the USA with plenty of links where you can buy them.
