The New York Toy Fair is being held on February 17th-20th at NYC. On the eve of the Toy Fair, the Toy Of The Year Awards are announced. This year, 2008, the TOTY Awards should be pretty exciting. Lots of great toys in various categories have been nominated for this prestigious set of awards. 
The various categories for the Toy of the Year Awards include Best infant/preschool toy, best girl toy, best boy toy, best activity toy, best game, most innovative toy of the year and many more. Each category has a bunch of nominees. I love to recommend this list of top toys to people, because you get a great idea of the good toys available grouped by interest.
