If you or anyone you know owns the Lion and Lamb Grabby rattles made by Infantino, please take them away from babies and children immediately. These ring-like rattles are of two types, shaped like a lion and a lamb. Look for the Infantino logo on the front right foot of the animal. If your rattle doesn't have a tail and the product code is 0108 and 0508, it's probably not affected by the recall. You can look for the product code behind the ear of the animal.
A little piece on the affected rattles, which forms the tail of the animals, can detach, posing a choking hazard. The recall has been issued after Infantino received 10 reports of the tail detaching. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
These rattles were sold at various stores like Wal-Mart and Babies "R" Us from May 2007 through September 2008. If you have one of these rattles, you can contact Infantino for a replacement product of equal value. The toll free contact number is (888) 808-3111 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. PT Monday through Friday, or you can visit Infantino's website.
