Blackberry's are irresistible, aren't they! Kids feel the same way - my two little ones can't keep their hands off my Blackberry. Leap Frog has come out with a new device called Text and Learn which looks like a Blackberry for kids. It's got a full QWERTY keyboard, basic graphics on it's LCD screen, letter matching and shape identification activities, a calendar to help kids learn the dates, games galore, phonics tutorials and, can you imagine, texting! Although the "texting" in question is limited to the onscreen "buddy" called Scout, it's still a great way for kids to pick up on how to use the QWERTY keyboard. Comments
