Toddler Toy Top Pick: K'Nex Kid Sesame Street Building Sets

Follow me on:

Building toys are always a lot of fun. They inspire creativity and free play, but also help little ones develop important gross and fine motor skills.

The new Sesame Street Building Sets from K'Nex (compare prices) are perfectly suited for little hands. Chunky pieces that snap in easily feature bright colors and construct together to create a familiar face. There are lots of kits available starring all the favorite Sesame Street characters, including Cookie Monster and Abby Caddaby.

One drawback -- some of the sets do have a lot of pieces. The Elmo and His Piano kit have 47, and Bert and Ernie have 46. Others have around 15, not too bad, but still something else to keep track of. The kits all do have some sort of storage, whether it be a tub or a canister.
