The thing that I dislike about some toys for young children is that they are only suitable for a few months. Now it's important to have children play with toys that are appropriate for their age. The right toys will help develop crucial motor, learning and social skills. But I like it very much when I find a plaything that is durable enough to last for years, and of greater consequence, one that will grow with a child -- meeting their needs as they age.
