The Project Zambi auction, sponsored by Hasbro is aiming to raise money and awareness for the 15 million children who have lost parents and relatives to the AIDS epidemic in Africa and around the world by auctioning off over 30 celebrity-created custom-designed, one-of-a-kind, collectible elephant models.
All money raised in the 10 day auction that starts Monday, Oct. 5 and ends Thursday, Oct. 15, will bedonated to the organization of the celebrity's choice that supports children orphaned by AIDS in Africa.
Celebrity participants include Jessica Biel, George Clooney, Glenn Close, Ellen DeGeneres & Portia de Rossi, Leonardo DiCaprio, Joely Fisher & Brad Garrett, Jennie Garth & Peter Facinelli, Hugh Jackman, Scarlett Johansson, Jonas Brothers, Alicia Keys, Heidi Klum, Kathy Najimy, Rhea Perlman & Danny DeVito, Graham Rahal, Susan Sarandon, Brooke Shields, Willow Smith & Jaden Smith, Taylor Swift, James Taylor, Barbara Walters, Denzel Washington and Naomi Watts.
Each autographed elephant will be accompanied by a signed letter of authenticity, information about its affiliated charity and additional ways to get involved with the project.
One hundred percent of the sale of each auctioned elephant will be donated to the organization of the celebrity's choice including African Children's Choir and The Association of Hole in the Wall Camps.

If you don't win the auction, but still want to help, you can. Hasbro has committed 50 percent of the net profits (for a minimum of $500,000) from the sale of Furreal Friends Zambi the Baby Elephant (compare prices) to the Project Zambi Fund, supporting programs that work directly with children orphaned by AIDS in Africa.
