I don't care if you have boys or girls, positive female role models are so important. I recently discovered Go! Go! Sports Girls toys (compare prices) and I'm so impressed! The girls each wear different sports uniforms and they model great attitudes like "Be active!" and "Live a healthy lifestyle!"
Go! Go! Sports Girls toys come with accessories all right, but they're not pink plastic pumps. Each doll comes with a tiny basketball, a soccer ball or a volleyball in an oh-so-chic, so-NOT-designer backpack! The dolls come in many styles of sportswear including soccer, golf, gymnastics, running, dance, swimming, basketball or softball. They have different hair and skin color, too. The volleyball doll I have has a full head of unruly curls that look fantastic. In fact, she reminds me of a former-college-athlete friend, so I think I'll pass the doll on to her daughter.

That’s SO great, as the athlete mama of 2 very girly-girls I am always looking at ways to expose them to positive role models instead of the ‘princesses’ they so often adore. LOVE it & I bet the curly-haired doll is as precious as your friend!
As the owner of summer day camp Game On! Sports Camp 4 Girls it is great to have tasteful toys that support our mission. Besides affording girls, grades pre-school through 8th, with quality sports opportunities that will allow them to appreciate sports and fitness for the rest of their lives, we look to contribute to changing attitudes throughout society that give our female athletes the support they need to flourish. I LOVE these dolls and can not wait to purchase one (or two) for my daughter. I think every doll she owns has been a gift from a family member or friend, as I’m not really into girly-girl dolls. But I love that these dolls send a different message to our girls! Thanks so much for posting this!
