Pook-a-Looz from Disney (compare prices) are reminiscent of Ugly Dolls and that urban pop art style, but they feature Disney characters. Sweet in their minimalism and folksy simplicity, I think Pook-a-Looz will take off as collectible toys. They're about a foot tall and made from fleece with whimsical top stitching to make them appear handmade. The familiar characters resonate with kids. For example, the cute Eeyore Pook-a-Looz has the requisite pink bow tied to his tail.

Those little Pook-a-looz are so cute. I can see them becoming a favorite toy because they are so snuggly and just the right size for a little person.
