From Kristen Ryan, About.com GuideApril 27, 2010

Follow me on:

The CPSC has announced that 21,000 Basic Rhythms toy drums have been recalled due to a choking hazard. The drum toys recalled were manufactured by Step2 in China. The plastic clips that hold the drumsticks on the recalled toy drums can break and cause a choking hazard. Fortunately no incidents or injuries have been reported.

If you have this recall toy in your home, you should take it away from children immediately. Visit the CPSC website to read more information about this recall and to sign up for free email alerts for future toy recalls. Toys.about.com is also keeping a list of recent toy recalls.
