
Step2 has recalled 2.5 million Push Around Buggy toys and Whisper Ride Buggy toys because a pin can loosen and cause the handle to detach. The recalled buggy toys come in orange, red, pink, green and blue colors and all of the recalled buggy toys have yellow buttons near the handle. There have been 28 reports of the handles detaching. The recalled buggy toys have been on the market for more than 10 years and were manufactured in the United States.
If you have this recall toy in your home, you should take it away from children immediately. Note that this is the second Step2 toy recall in the past few weeks. They recalled their Basic Rhythms Toy Drums on April 27, 2010.

I am *so* angry about this recall! 10 years of manufacturing and they’ve already fixed the button on the model *THEN* they tell us to recall it – 10 years worth of manufacturing! SERIOUSLY? They should’ve recalled it when they fixed the button!
I am not sure what these companies get out of not properly testing their products. Certainly makes me back up and look at their overall mission.

I am pissed off about the buggy recall that ive pushed my daughter around in for 3 yrs all i knew was the handle was always popping off my mother bought it for her 1st b-day 59.99 at toys r us just now found out because a recall on a trike she has was recalled about a key on it.
