The Caring Corners Miss Butterfly Bliss Interactive Cottage toy (Compare Prices) is a sweet, portable playset made mostly from vinyl. It has a handle on top and it unfolds into five unique rooms with more than a hundred songs, words and sounds.
When I rang the cottage doorbell the cottage said, "Guests are coming! What a lovely day for a visit!" This kind of audio cue gets girls' imaginations going and can fuel independent or cooperative play all afternoon.

I particularly like the "A Book at Bedtime" set, which comes with two kittens, a dresser and chair, a bed complete with pillows and a quilt and a doll who can hold a book for story time. Reading before bed is so important and girls will love the real, working bedside lamp.
Other Dollpacks include "Caring for Critters," "Feeding Baby," and a terrific dining set called, "Table Manners." The salt and pepper shakers are buttons that say, "please" and "thank you" when pressed.
