As someone who enjoyed roller skating as a kid, I was anxious to get my hands on (err, get my feet in) these sneakers with wheels. Although a bit rusty at first, I don't think I did too bad! (The style I tried, Chazz [shown], features one wheel per heel.) I didn't fall at all, and once I got the hang of it, I actually used the fancy footwear to my advantage, tooling around the house doing my chores.
My favorite part though, was the reaction of my children when I, a) took them out of the box and announced I was going to put them on and b) starting wheeling around our kitchen. They were hysterical and so was I.
Later on, I couldn't help but smile from ear to ear when I overheard my son on the phone telling his friend what his mom had done. "So cool!," he kept saying.
So if you are looking for a little street cred with your kids or even just a faster way to get around, Heelys are the way to roll!
