Through February 16, toy executives, buyers, marketers, members of the press and many other professionals will be descending on New York City for Toy Fair 2011. Put on by the Toy Industry Association, Toy Fair is expected to attract over 25,000 attendees who will view over 100,000 products. We are taking a look this week at some of the more popular offerings.
Ask my kids to name their two favorite things and you are likely to hear "toys" and "candy." Makes sense then, that creative toymaker ALEX Toys is teaming up with sweet confectionary Dylan's Candy Bar to create a line of crafts and accessories aimed at girls ages 4 and up.
They include Make Candy Wrapper Jewelry, Color a Sweet Wristlet!, Color a Yumbrella, Color a Candy Bag, Collage a Candy Frame and My Sweet Diary.
The craft sets include all the supplies your little one will need to make the perfect adornments, including markers, glue, stickers, gems and more.
The sets range in age from 4 and up to 7 and up and retail between $12 and $33, depending on the kit.
