Ready for a (fun) trip down memory lane?

Last week, Time magazine released a list of the all-time 100 greatest toys. Spanning playthings as far back as the 1920s, the compilation includes such favorites as the yo-yo (1920s), sock monkey (1930s), Slinky (1940s), Mr. Potato Head (1950s), Barbie Dream House (1960s), Rubik's Cube (1970s), Koosh Ball (1980s), Tickle Me Elmo (1990s) and Zhu Zhu Pets (2000s).

I wasn't surprised by many of the toys here -- in fact, I grew up playing with many of them. Some that were mentioned caused me to raise my eyebrows -- Bratz dolls definitely made millions and got people talking, but are they one of the all time 100 greatest toys? For me, no. And even though extensive, there are a lot that are missing -- for me that would be Wii, crayons, Clue and others.

Obviously the list is subjective -- it looks like one reporter put it together -- and in the comments section of the piece, readers have been nominating their own best-loved choices including Lionel Trains and Tinker Toys. What do you think of this list? Did your favorite make the cut?
