What I Want Now from Toy Fair: Fisher-Price iCan Play Case

Follow me on:

Earlier this month, the Toy Industry Association hosted Toy Fair 2011, a yearly opportunity for toy executives, buyers, marketers, members of the press and many other professionals to preview what toy manufacturers will be selling this year. While some of the products are available immediately, many have later release dates. Here's what I'm wishing I could buy right now.

I realize that it's probably not the smartest idea ever, but I routinely hand over my iPhone to my 21 month old. I take comfort in the fact that I am hardly alone. So hardly alone am I, that the folks at Fisher-Price, have unveiled the new Laugh & Learn iCan Play, a case that serves as a rattle that keeps baby entertained, while keeping your iPhone or iPod Touch safe from sticky fingers and drooly mouths.

Kids can still play with various apps while the cover is on. Fisher-Price will be rolling out toddler friendly games later on this year.

The iCan Play will be available this summer. It will retail for about $20.

Do you let your kids play with your smartphone?
