Last month, the Toy Industry Association hosted Toy Fair 2011, a yearly opportunity for toy executives, buyers, marketers, members of the press and many other professionals to preview what toy manufacturers will be selling this year. While some of the products are available immediately, many have later release dates. Here's what I'm wishing I could buy right now.
Who needs a kite? Not you, not if you have Air Swimmers, remote-controlled floating fish that gets a little help from some helium. Created by the William Mark Corporation (manufacturer's site), first available will be a Great White Shark and Clownfish. They are for indoor use only and can be refilled with helium once it deflates, although the manufacturer reports that it will take a while.
Air Swimmers will be available this summer. They will retail for about $40.
