Three popular board games are getting the SpongeBob SquarePants treatment later this spring, with new editions arriving on shelves that feature the underwater phenomenon.
SpongeBob and his pals will all take center stage in the classic games Guess Who?, Yahtzee Jr. and Ants in the Pants and add funny twists that youngsters will recognize from the yellow guy's antics on screen.
Guess Who?: SpongeBob SquarePants Edition will include citizens from all across Bikini Bottom. Great for two players (play it tournament-style if you've got a bunch), ages six and up. The game will retail for about $19.
Yahtzee Jr.: SpongeBob SquarePants Edition features dice adorned with all of SpongeBob's friends. Two to four players can play. Great, for kids ages four and up. It will retail for about $8.
Ants in the SquarePants: SpongeBob SquarePants Edition (my favorite simply for the name) asks players to flip ants into SpongeBob trademark britches. Two or more players can take a run at it, great for kids ages three and up. The game will cost about $10.
