Gamewright, a Newton, Massachusetts, manufacturer of games for all ages, strives to create memorable experiences that encourage laughter, learning, friendship and fun. Some of their most popular games include Slamwich, Rat-a-Tat Cat, and In a Pickle. My personal favorites include Boochie, Ringo Flamingo, Flip Out, Dweebies and Rory's Story Cubes.
To encourage families to set aside time to play games together and build a sense of community, Gamewright started a nationwide fundraising program, Gamewright GameNight. Schools and non-profit organizations host a night where they encourage children and their families to sit down and play some of their most popular games. Games are sold at the event and the host organization receives 50% of the proceeds. Last year, the GameNight program raised over $50,000 for schools and other non-profit organizations.
