The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced the recall of Knight Hawk Toy Helicopters due to a potential fire hazard.
The helicopter, which was previously recalled in January 2010 and is distributed by UJ Trading (during the last recall the importer was RadioShack), was sold at toy, hobby and other stores, including mall kiosks, nationwide and online at www.UJToys.com from April 2010 through April 2011 for about $36. The battery housing under the helicopter canopy can overheat while charging, posing a fire hazard. No injuries have been reported.
This toy should be taken away from your child immediately. To get a full refund and a postage-paid label to return the helicopter, contact UJ Trading at (800) 536-2691 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. CT Monday through Friday, or visit the firm's website.
It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled toy.
