B.Toys Is Supporting Free The Children

It can be overwhelming at times locating different charitable organizations to donate money or time to. If you are like me, your life might be really busy, and I personally feel that it can be virtually impossible to "give back" to the community, in ways that I would honestly like to.

Free the Children, an organization, founded by Craig Kielburger and a group of his friends, encourages the youth of North America to participate in leadership programs where they organize campaigns and fundraisers. This in turn helps other children as they adopt villages overseas. As a result of the efforts of Free the Children, 650 schools have been built and over 55,000 students are in attendance. Through these fundraising efforts, children overseas are able to receive healthcare, gain access to clean water and use sanitary facilities.

Free the Children also has corporate sponsors. B. Toys, here in the United States is also supporting the Free the Children mission and donates 10 cents of every toy purchased to this organization.

Click here for more information on Free the Children.

Would you feel better purchasing different toys for your children or for birthday gifts if you knew that a small portion of the purchase price was donated to different charities?
