As a little girl, I loved the Wizard of Oz. One summer I joined a camp at a local theater that performed the Wizard of Oz, with my 3 line part being none other than the dear old, "Auntie Em." I quickly realized theatrics was definitely not my strong suit, but I have always enjoyed Broadway theater. Now fast forward to the present, and I won't lie, I love the television show Glee. Honestly, for one whole hour per week, it is the only show that takes me away from reality where I sit with an absolute perma-smile. So what does Glee and the new Dorothy of Oz have in common? Dorothy's voice in the new movie is played by my favorite Glee actress, Lea Michele!
Though Dorothy of Oz is not set to hit the movies until the Summer of 2012, coupled with that, the toy company Bandai will be onboard creating many new dolls, trading cards, play sets and plush toys that a whole new generation of kids will enjoy acting out their favorite scenes from the new movie.
