So in honor of World Breastfeeding Week, though I have not seen this toy in person or product tested it, I was just made aware of the existence of the Breast Milk Baby Doll by Berjuan Toys. Many of these dolls have reportedly been sold internationally, and it is soon going to be available here in the United States. A halter top is sold along with the doll for the child to wear like a vest. With the child wearing the halter top, when the baby doll is placed in the breastfeeding position, the doll makes a soft suckling sound. There are 6 different baby dolls to choose from, and include both boy and girl dolls with 3 different nationalities (Caucasian, African American, Asian). The dolls currently retail for about $89. Would you purchase a doll that could provide an experience like this for your child? What are your thoughts?
