little tikes nailsMore than 1.7 million Little Tikes Workshop and Tool Sets are being recalled. The sets include plastic nails that can pose as a choking hazard for children. The, oversized, plastic toy nails are about 3 1/4 inches long by 1 1/4 inch in diameter. The nails are either red or blue and have a large round head; below the nail head there is a plastic ridge, slightly smaller than the nail head and about 1 inch in diameter. The model number may be found on some of the products. Sets that included these nails were sold nationwide from 1990 through 2004, with pricepoints of $25-$100. Consumers should take the nails away from their child and contact Little Tikes for a replacement set of nails at (800) 321-0183 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or by visiting the company's website. Please click here to see more imagery of the tool sets that included these nails when purchased.
