Beyblade (compare prices) is a popular spinning top game by Hasbro geared for young boys ages 8 and up. The game is very popular with boys because it involves a lot of competitive strategy. The Beyblade National Championship was held recently in New York City. 16 Beyblade fans went head-to-head, and Zakiah Garcia of Rialto, CA was crowned the ultimate Beyblader! Throughout 2011, boys ages 8-13 participated in 7 different qualifying rounds in California, Texas, Florida, New Jersey, and New York. An additional qualifying round was held online at beybladebattles.com. The Beyblade World Championships will be held in March 2012 in Toronto, Canada.
