Toy Train Sets

For those of you with toddlers and preschoolers ages 3 and up, you may find they have a vested interest in toy train sets. I have a 2-year-old and you can often see him riding around in shopping carts or his stroller on errands, clutching a car or train in either hand. There are classic wooden train sets, but also a variety of train sets for toddlers and preschoolers that are based off of several popular children's television shows such as Thomas & Friends, Chuggington and Dinosaur Train. Here is  a list of my favorite toy train sets, great for toddlers and preschool aged children.
