My First Magic Set

My First Magic Set as the name suggests is a good learning set for your young magician wannabe. The case is portable and comes with DVD instructions. The tricks are easy to learn and perform, thereby making this set a hit with kids. All in all, this is a good gift for kids between 4 to 15 years.

Magic certainly has the potential to win almost anyone over. I always associate magic tricks with a sense of awe and wonderment. Learning how to do magic tricks is especially good for kids because it gives them a lot of confidence and improves their self esteem. Magic also happens to be very logical in nature, which is a good trait for kids to develop.

That said, the My First Magic Set from Cadaco is a great starter set as the tricks are designed specifically for younger kids. Basic magic tricks like making things appear and disappear are the highlight of this magic set. The tricks are easy to learn and to perform, making this set a hit with budding magicians. The included DVD really helps as it's far easier to watch and learn.

There are a limited number of tricks included in this set, which I whole heartedly approve of because it is much less overwhelming. It's easier to focus and master a few tricks rather than trying to get it all in at once, like some of the other magic sets around. I would recommend that an adult be around to supervise the setting up of this magic set as kids will need guidance on how to go about getting started. Also, some of the props are a little flimsy and have to be handled with care.

The tricks which I enjoyed the most are the magic box which makes things disappear and magically appear and the crayon box which is colorful and fun.

My First Magic Set makes a great gift for kids and grandkids. It's certainly different, involves mastering a skill and will help in boosting your child's confidence.
