NERF toys are very popular boys toys, for kids typically 8-years-old and up. These are blaster toys, that shoot different types of ammunition, depending on the individual blaster. Some models, such as the NERF N-STRIKE blasters, shoot foam darts and whistling darts. NERF toys part of the DART TAG series include darts with velcro on the end so they can adhere to targets they are aimed at. Blasters in the NERF VORTEX series shoot green discs. NERF toys can be a great way for young kids and their parents to get physical exercise, either indoor or outdoor. Included in this list are not only some of the newest blasters from the NERF N-STRIKE, NERF DART TAG and NERF VORTEX lines, but some really cool accessories that include refill packs, protective eyewear, vests and shirts. Many of these blasters have some unique features, and some even blast a combination of discs and darts. Some blasters are motorized and require batteries, while others do not. For those NERF lovers who want to take their game to virtual places, there are even NERF accessory packs for Wii. Parents should continue to supervise their children when playing with NERF toys, and children should be instructed to never aim their darts at another person's face or eyes.
