Guide Review - Pocket Snails Aquaphonic Adventure Kid's DVD

The Pocket Snails Aquaphonic Adventure kid's DVD is the story of three friendly snails as they take your kids along on an aquatic adventure. The DVD is peppered with lots of catchy songs, great graphics and some interesting and different sights related to the ocean.

Kids will love learning all about the letters and vowels and singing along with the snails. Objects with an aquatic theme are chosen to represent various lettes of the alphabet. Kids come across lots of new objects like anchors, various sea animals, fishing equipment, boats etc, which they probably wouldn't in day to day life.

This kid's DVD includes a lot of repetition and reinforcement of the letters and phonics sounds. However, at times, the letters move to quick for little kids to grasp them. I would use this DVD to strengthen what my kids have already learnt, rather than as a first DVD for alphabet learning.

Overall, the Pocket Snails Aquaphonic Adventure DVD can be compared to a refreshing breeze on warm day. Kids will really enjoy this one!
