Barbie And The Magic Of Pegasus

Mattel has announced a slightly unconventional path for Barbie Dolls this year. It plans to release "Barbie And The Magic Of Pegasus", a first Barbie direct to home entertainment movie which is based on an original storyline. We can expect this release to be in the Fall of 2005. This features 3D Animation which is also a first in little girl movies.

The Theme:

The theme of the movie itself is an indication of what the line of Barbie Dolls is going to be like. Magical, mystical, and dreamy is the feeling it creates. Just the stuff that little girl's dreams are made of! The Barbie line will be filled with princesses, horses, and mythical figures in far away lands.

The Characters: The movie features characters such as Barbie as Princess Annika, Brietta the Pegasus, which is a mythical horse with wings, Rayla the Cloud Queen who is the kind and gentle ruler of the Magical Cloud Kingdom, the tiny artistic Cloud Princess Kelly, and Prince Aidan, Princess Annika's beau. The twist in the tale is that Brietta the Pegasus turns out to be Princess Annika's sister. The movie weaves the themes of sisterhood and love into the story.

  This beautiful playset will feature a vanity area for dressing the Princess Annika and Brietta the Pegasus, along with a dance floor, a playground and a bedroom for Kelly.

• Magical Musical Wings

  This unique product is truly a novelty. This consists of musical sparkly wings which flutter at 4 speeds.
