Mattel has come out with some great Barbie products recently. The DVD release of the movie Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses has been highly anticipated as one of the most innovative princess tales in a long time. The story line is similar to other fairy tales but it is portrayed in a crisper manner with attention to details that are increasingly being seen in animated movies nowadays.
The Princess Genevieve doll represents Barbie in the role of Princess Genevieve just as in the movie. Princess Genevieve is dressed in a beautiful rose-colored gown. And just as in the movie, her gown spins and lights up. (Of course, this requires 3 AAA batteries which are not included).
