Newborn Baby Alive Sip 'n Snooze DollGuide Rating - ![]() The Bottom LineThe Baby Alive Newborn Sip-n-Snooze doll does just what the name implies. It "drinks" from a bottle and then, when you twist the bottle, the doll closes its eyes. Initially, it's really cute to do the opening and closing thing over and over again. After a while, it gets boring because that's basically all this Baby Alive newborn doll can do. However, I must add that from my little daughter's point of view, the Baby Alive doll was a big hit. She seems to have taken quite a fancy to this little doll. That's what counts ultimately, don't you think? Pros

Description
Guide Review - Newborn Baby Alive Sip 'n Snooze DollThe Baby Alive Newborn Sip 'n Snooze doll from Hasbro is a fair sized doll who has her own feeding bottle. The doll is pretty cute to look at, with a cherubic face and lovely eyelashes. One thing that I found really practical was that the clothes are all attached to the doll from one end and have velcro fastners on the other end. So, you can still "undress" the doll without actually taking off the clothes or the diaper completely. This is a great feature for moms and of course, the dolls themselves as there's no way to lose the doll's clothes.
I found the quality of the Baby Alive doll to be average. I'm sure my prior exposure to much superior quality dolls like the Corolle dolls, for example, had something to do with this observation. However, for the price of $14.99, the Baby Alive doll is a pretty good deal. As I mentioned earlier, my little daughter is supremely happy with her newborn Baby Alive doll. An unexpected advantage of this Baby Alive doll is that it works great at naptimes. I simply put the doll to sleep and watched as my little one quietly closed her eyes and went to sleep all by herself. Wasn't that just swell? |
