Trends in Toyland keep changing. New toys are continuously being added, some of them generate huge fan followings and some don't. Old favorites still rule, and sometimes exit the scene only to reappear again after a while .. our good old Cabbage Patch Dolls which have made a comeback are a classic example! Evergreen toys such as Mattel's Barbie will always charm little girls, although Barbie is given a new look every season, this time it's Barbie as the American Idol Doll! Here are some of the hot new toys for this season.

Star Wars Darth Vader Mask
This cool Star Wars Darth Vader mask with voice changer from Hasbro is the latest scene stealer! Fans of Star Wars movies will love this awesome mask which actually electronically changes your voice to sound like Darth Vader! For more information about the Star Wars Darth Vader character click on the link.

The Barbie American Idol Doll, the latest in the Barbie offerings from Mattel, looks like it's going to be a sure shot winner yet again. Click on the link for a press release from Mattel about the American Idol Barbie Doll.

Hovercopter R/C Flying Saucer is really cool. It actually hovers and flies, and its motions can be controlled by a remote control. Check out the Hovercopter for more information.

Boohbah Dance along Boohbah Singing and Dancing Toys from Hasbro are really cute! They are based on the popular kids TV show Boohbah on PBS. There are 5 Boohbah toys, the blue Jumbah, the purple Zumbah, the red Jingbah, the orange Zingbah and the yellow Humbah. From personal experience, it keeps even the most hyperactive child fascinated!

Fisher-Price My Sweet Kitchen Cook 'N Sizzle Kitchen is another toy in the pretend play line. Great fun for the little girls.

The Wave Dance Maker from Moose Mountain Marketing Inc is one of the trendiest products to hit the market. It teaches you how to dance by waving your arms across the motion sensors, and it tells you where to put your feet. Tons of fun for the entire family.
