Guide Review - McFarlane's Dragons - Berserker Clan Dragon vs Human Attacker
The dragon figure is well sized and propotioned. On closer examination, the details are beautiful, with the scales of the dragon showing up beautifully. The underside is a textured black, and the wings are gorgeous and leathery looking. The insides of the dragon's mouth are the best though, with the yellowish teeth and the red tongue looking dangerous. One thing that wasn't that great was the flames coming out of the mouth - something about the yellow color and the shape made me think of a sea animal instead.
The Human Attacker on the horse is very disappointing. The horse is pretty realistic, but the human figure atop the horse could use some more detailing. On to the articulation - limited that it is. The dragon is articulated at 3 places on the neck, left thigh, right shin, ankles and tail. The human figure is jointed at the neck, shoulders and waist and the horse at the neck. Not too useful for posing. This makes a great display figure rather than a play figure.
Overall, I gave it 4 stars out of 5.
